Last week, Musk's legal team requested that Chancellor McCormick step down from these lawsuits. In a Monday communication, McCormick rejected the recusal plea but confirmed she would reassign the cases. "The recusal motion is based on an incorrect assumption—that I back a LinkedIn post concerning Mr. Musk, which I actually do not," the letter stated. "The recusal motion is denied. However, the reassignment request is approved."
